Below is some useful information for your appointment

Introduction

During the first appointment, I take plenty of time to get to know each other. This anamnesis is important to put together a specific and personal treatment plan/massage plan for you.

Even if you only want to use a relaxation massage, I need to be aware of your personal situation. There may be indications that I should take into account before proceeding with the massage.

After this relaxed interview, your overall posture (body position) will be examined. This research phase is important because every person is unique. For example, injuries or complaints may be caused by a certain posture and/or body characteristics.

Naturally, your information will be treated completely confidentially and I will never provide it to third parties without your express permission.

Contraindications

In the interest of your own health, I may not/will not massage you if you have the following conditions:

Infectious skin diseases

Infectious diseases such as flu or severe colds

Boil (due to the high risk of infection and spread)

Very poor general health condition

Fever

Other unknown pathological abnormalities

I will take the choice and strength of the handles into account during the massage if you have:

Hypersensitivity reactions

Mild vascular disorders

Raised blood pressure

Non-contagious skin diseases

Varicose veins

Sometimes, by mutual agreement, I will not massage you in a specific area, but it can be done on the rest of the body. Think about:

Acute trauma

Inflammations (unless accompanied by fever)

Thickenings, where the cause is doubted

Serious vascular diseases

If you are pregnant, ask your midwife for advice; massage is sometimes advised against during the first 13 weeks.
